ANDREW HILL - Broadcasting Consultant

Since 1988 Andrew Hill has been engaged by countless international broadcasters and production companies. His skills and knowledge when confronted with creative challenges or technical difficulties, combined with a reputation for initiative and calmness under stressful broadcast situations, have earned him the respect of television professionals throughout the world.

Over the past two decades he has filled many posts. From cameraman, editor and producer for news, documentary, current affairs, travel, environmental and human interest programmes to coordinating satellite programming for national broadcasters, organising and directing promotional presentations for major corporations and live broadcasts of concerts and other large, international events.

Due to the mobile nature of today’s TV programming he has travelled to numerous areas where his responsibilities involved filming and editing “breaking news” situations, live events and documentaries, setting up and operating temporary editing, studio and satellite up-link facilities.

Other areas of television broadcasting he has been involved in include script writing and translation; multi-media presentations for conferences and DVD production; the design, installation and operation of broadcast facilities including the training of local personnel to operate the equipment.
